SL63 MCT Question
Hi guys, need your help. I have a 09 model and recently had it to the dealer to check into a noise coming from the rear which occurs when the tranny shifts 1-2, 2-3 under full load. Specifically, the sound is much like a dry rubber bushing, in that the loading/unloading of the bushing causes it to make a sueeky kind of noise. To my ear, it appears to be occurring on the driver side of the car. In normal driving, the shifts occur absent this noise. The dealer assessment is that it is normal due to the nature of the MCT.
Have other 63 owners experienced this? Appreciate the help and thanks.

From the standpoinht of both not having to tear into the car and my relationship with the dealer (they've actually been a class act), I was hoping for a "it's normal" kind of response. Again, my thanks.

Yep , mine does it, in fact as time goes by it's making a variety of noises,
as long as it still goes it's ok with me!
Your still driving the best SL they ever made, and mine is maturing and I am
sure getting quicker.
