My sl55 wont unlock...its a 2003....both batteries are fine, keyfob batteries also fine.....its kinda intermittant...also the keyless go card does same thing sometimes wont recognise.

Had it recovered but then was ok so back home...now wont open..obviously i can with key but alarm goes off....i hadnt used car for a while and had to change the battery in boot...but i recall it did it very occasionally before that.

Sounds like a trip to the dealers workplace. Maybe the ignition module is breaking down.

It sounds like there may be an issue with the receiver in the car.... Since your batteries are good.

I had the same, you need to take it to a main dealer where they re-tune
radio frequencies between your fob and the car.

I couldn't get into my car when the main/trunk battery was low. Had to use the mechanical key to open door. Still couldn't get the trunk open to check battery. Started car & ran it a bit to charge, was finally able to open trunk, etc. I'm not sure if you have the same problem, but my alarm was also sounding for no reason (other than low battery voltage).

Do the lights flash when you hit lock/unlock? If so, maybe a PSE issue. Otherwise, I would check the charge on the rear battery, and if all else fails, take it to the dealer.
