anyone know of any NEW sl55 available?
as i get closer and closer to summer vacation, i get more and more paranoid that i will never be able to get my sl55 before the end of summer 
placed an order in march at a dealership in texas, but no news of the order status (didnt even get a build date yet )
i know this sounds selfish, but i am getting really desperate. if anyone knows of any new sl55 available at a dealership near them, or a dealer who can possibly get one before Aug. (with reasonable premium - which for me is under $10k), could you please PM me and let me know? I tried the inventory search only to find SL55's over $140k. Thanks in advance.
mods, if you feel that this belongs in the for sale forum, please feel free to move it. i am sorry for posting it here, but i felt that ppl who already own a sl55 would be a better target since they seem like they have a good knowledge of sl55 availability from the dealerships. sorry for the inconvenience.

Contact Frank Rice at Prestige Mercedes in New Jersey. He has a modifiable May build car. He is asking 10k over MSRP, but I am sure you will be able to negotiate to 8k. number is 201-987-2011. Tell him Reza from Boston says hello!

evanichka, I just saw a silver SL55 sitting on the lot of Mercedes Benz of Alexandria in Northern VA (703) - 341-2100. They also have an SL500. Not sure about the price...hope this helps!
