SL 55 Radio Volume Problem

I have a 2003 SL55, when driving the radio-cd volume goes up and down without touching any of the controls. I had it back to the dealer but they said they could not get it to do it. Once I had it back it done it after a few days of driving. Anyone have any ideas or heard of this before ??

2001 E320 Wagon
I have a 2001 E320 Wagon - same problem. It seems to only happen when listening to CDs and the volume only moves one level or so. The volume also appears to move when turning. I thought maybe it was an advanced feature -turn right for more music, left for less... Anyone with ideas?

SL 55 and a GT 3000 vr4 Here's my car: http://home.online.no/~ludvs/index.cfm
I have the same thing, it's to compensate for the noise level on the outside (roadnoise mostly), it's completely normal.

I had the same thing with my old pioneer decks, but on those I could turn it off.

It also compensates for the bass on low volume vs high volume.
Sort of loudness control.

Clarify that volume changes when maintaining a constant speed, or it changes according to speed (like it should)?
