So far this website has been almost unanimously black while benzworld silver
. Therefore they are equal?
I guess it won't truly matter which color I buy as I'm impartial to both and it seems the public is as well.
Any clear benefits from either color guys? Anything to add to my short list?
Silver: easier to maintain
can go with any rims
hides minor blemishes
more clearly defines the curves of the car
Looks amazing in the night
Black: It's black
Less common

Silver is easier to keep clean, black shows dirt really easy...but silver is one of the most common colors. I like my color Iridium which is a bluish silver, also known as diamond silver metallic, believe it was an order-optionl color...

I looked at several SL's and the silver is a great option for those that don't like upkeep, but to me the black looks much more sinister and aggressive. The silver also seams to date the car a bit, and it makes it look like an "old guy" car. I don't mean to offend by any of this as I love a few of the silver cars in the R230 wheels thread, but the setup amgfan and marcus frost used are insane

I have a number of black cars and my Testarossa was one of my favorites. It would look amazing when I detailed it...............
........for 15 minutes!
I'm too old and neurotic for black anymore. Silver is brilliant!

How often do you black SL owners clean your cars anyways/what exactly does cleaning entail? I'm just wondering since the only black car I've owned is a H2 which only needs a wash once a week. Thank you!

I usually wash mine once a week, I am hoping to do that a bit less though as I am planning to get akebono pads. The cleaning process just depends how detailed you want to be, on the short side it can be 10 minutes, if you want it done well, shoot for 1-2 hours, if you want it perfect it takes a weekend.
