Starter battery replaced, more HP
My starter battery was just replaced this afternoon, I noticed on the ride home something was different. It felt like the car was in sport but it wasn't, just a MUCH FASTER version of what I dropped off.
The throttle response was amazing and I was grinning all the way home.
Can it be possible my old battery was holding something back???
Or is it possible that it can be related to a the IC pump I had replaced last month? I drove the car once or twice since the ICreplacement because of the snow and that's when the battery problem surfaced.
Wondering what it was, but I am happy with the outcome!

More than likely by removing the starter battery, you cut power to the car's engine management unit and thus it was recent back to default settings. The car is now relearning how you drive since reconnecting power, which results in a little more power. Over the course of a few drives it will relearn your driving habits and readjust itself accordingly. It could also be that the air is colder/denser so that the car runs much better too. Lower air intake temps=more power
