Installed Carlsson C-Tronic V3 lowering on my 2003 SL55.
After my MB workplace erased the ABC lowering I had done by AMG in Affalterbach while fiddling with some ABC settings (on my request) I just went for the easy way and installed a Carlsson V3 lowering module.
Installation of the module is true plug-n-play (without cutting anything, and settings through dip-switches), which is why I choose this module. Installation of the bracket to hold the module was a P.I.T.A. due to the location but I managed anyway without breaking anything.
I went for the "Meh, it could be stock" look, which was 1cm in the front and 1,4cm in the rear (which nevertheless makes a world of difference!!!). Furthermore the V3 module has a dip switch setting which loweres it even more (40%) after stopping for that "perfect stance" look.
Only the "after" pics as I was too lazy.
I hope you like the arty-farty Hipstamatic prints...

I have the manual... My is 2011 SL550.... After I got it on... It says ABC malfunction....... I had all 6 wires plugged. 4 on 6 pin, 1 on 3 pin, 1 plugged on ESP 1.. My car doesn't Have the ESP wire so I just plugged in there... I don't know why it doesn't work... How many wires you used?
