Sl55 18 or 19 inch rims for New York Driving
I have my SL55 in New York now and I have had nothing but
Problems with my 19 inch mono IV 2 piece AMG wheels. It's a nightmare.
I barely hit a pothole and the rim dents and I get a flat.
I just hit a pothole and bent the lip and rendered the wheel unrepairable.
I have 3 wheels in good shape, 1 front and 2 rear. The one front has been repaired.
Let me know if you want them. The fronts just can't handle the weight. My issue now is, should I get the new SL65 one piece wheels 19 inch or just go back to an 18? I would appreciate any advice. The article above makes all the sense in the world. I know the 2 piece AMG can't hold the weight of the SL55. Definitely not on a 2003 in rougher roads.
