Gents -
After logging a few truly horrible passes, I'm scratching my head and wondering - have any of you all had an IC pump go bad in just a year?
Last April I had a new IC pump put in the car and everything seem nice and cool (literally). Now today at the track, even with a new trunk mount reservoir I'm seeing damn near 200F at the big end of the track and 150++ throughout. As you might imagine the car basically had a fit and put an end to any thoughts of making power.
Short of air in the system, which I HIGHLY doubt....I mean, it sounds like another bad pump - right?
Thanks,
Jay

Yep, it does but I'd suggest checking the electrical circuits around the pump, too. Something might be amiss there.

I had a brand new pump blow a fuse after about a month... Put in a new fuse and no more problems!
Cant figure out why the fuse blew once but never again?
Maybe something got jambed in the impeller?
