Looked for a while. No luck so far. It is a real pain to try and probe under the seat. Anyone know how they are attached? There is a fastener under the leather but I am unsure how the badge is attached to it.

I have recently purchased a pair but I will not be using them. PM me if you would like to buy them. I will sell them to you for the same price I paid for.

Finally found the badge. I had to position the seat so I could raise it as high as possible. Trying to figure out a durable way to reattach it.
The die-cast badge had four tiny molded in "pins" on the rear. The pins are peened over to hold two steel tabs. The pins are too small and the metal too soft to survive the steel tabs working against them. The head of the pins get ripped off. Just a bad design that was never going to survive.

I just bought an 03 S55 that is missing the AMG badge from the drivers seat. Can you please tell me where you bought yours, or better yet, if you still have one, may i buy it? :-) Best and Thanks, Steve

They are available to be ordered at any dealer or parts.com... But... You are not going to like the price purely on principle
