The trunk locking mechanism is not working on my 2004 SL55AMG, Any ideas?

You've probably got a leak somewhere on/in/near the trunk latch assembly. You can get it to work temporarily by pulling the fuse, waiting, and replacing it. This is not a permanent fix though, because you will eventually burn out your PSE pump. Trust me, that is not something you want to do. The latch assembly is P/N 230-750-01-85 and was $320 at my local dealership. You can also take the trunk lid apart and look to see if you can find where it's leaking, as it may be repairable.
