Question Spots on outside mirrors
Just bought my 2005 SL55 with 35k miles and the outside mirrors have what looks like water spots on the glass. I've tried windex and vinegar with no help. Thinking about trying Lime away or CLR and would be careful of paint. Any suggestions?

You can use mild polishing compound for paint, or anything similar, even the stuff they sell for plastic headlight restoration. It might take a few applications & some elbow grease.
