traded in sl55 for cl55 today

Gonna miss you guys...traded in my SL55 today for a CL55 only had it 2 months with 2,300 miles...but with spinal fusion had to take the healty way out. Easier to get in and out...I handed them the keys they handed me the keys and that was that. Of course one year less on lease payments but same monthly vig. I know they'll put it on the the lot for 30k over MSRP but that's their concern. I'm happy they're happy, see ya on the CL site ..great kibbizing with you all for the past 6 months. Cruising PCH in So Cal this weekend ...hope to see you then...My Plates "PUREAMG"

2003 CL55
I did the same thing....but for different reasons. Would love to know your thoughts on the difference of the 2 rides. I have found the CL55 to be a better ride - just my assessment.

The SL55 is an amazing car and would never knock it at all but for one, there is zero trucnk space when the top is down and you are fairly limited as to where you can go because of that.

As well, I found the handling to be better on the CL55 - maybe due to displacement.

While there is nothing better than a great sunny day with the top down of an SL55 - on a more regular daily basis, the CL55 is my better choice.

I can understand people living around NYC wanting the more compliant ride of the CL - I was in New York on vacation this past week and was stunned at the poor state of the roads. Maybe it's the winters, maybe it's lack of maintenance but I can see the ride of the SL55 would be tiring.

I was thinking about changing my order, but I decided to stay with the SL55, our roads here are awesome!
