Well; I can’t say for this book since I haven’t read it yet. But if you’re looking for a serious and in-depth book of the Baureihe 230 then this is the book: http://www.amazon.de/Alles-%C3%BCber...ef=pd_sim_b_13
It’s full of lovely technical pictures from the start of the development to the different test drives around the globe (USA included). You follow all the steps from the start of the design to the finish car. You are simply looking over the shoulder of all the German Dr. and etc. and see things from the laboratory and the faces of the people who have anticipated in the creation of this beautiful icon. Mercedes Benz is backing this book so it’s of curse from a very favorable point of view.
The technical explanations are plain and easy so anyone with just a little knowledge about cars will understand it. It’s written in 2002 and it’s only to be found in the German langue.
So Männer; jetzt gehst los
