SL65: King of the 2-lane road
I took a day trip from the bay area to Yosemite last week. Getting to and from the park on Highway 120 which is one lane in each direction. Much of it twisty and with limited passing opportunities. The SL65 is just a monster when passing slower traffic. I could get around 2-3 or more cars in seconds. Most of the time I would just hit the the throttle until I was alongside the first car and then just coast past the others. I must have pissed a few drivers off who were in front of me but stuck behind a slower car. Unable to pass because of the limited passing distance. I would wait a second or two to see if anybody in front of me was going to move into the left lane and then I would just blow them all away. Never having to use WOT.
Great trip, saw some waterfalls and big rocks too.

Oh yeah....
we went over to Barber Motorsports park a couple weeks ago. US 280 is a fantastic limited acess four lane, with lots of big hilly sweepers. I think I was first because I had my V1. And because I have 604 HP.
Good thing. I'm just beginning to get everything just right and enjoy this thing. What a pleasure to let that thing sing. She needs lots of room to roam. Yes, I would love to take about a 500 mile road trip with NO interstates involved. It's nice to know there is hardly anyone, anywhere on the road, who can pass you.
Everyone should get one.

As time goes by the 55/65 cars will go down as very special.
I have had lots of cars, and lots of exotics and my SL55 will always have a home in my garage.
