Mercedes always finds ways to get my money
I know this has happened to a bunch of you... The car is stuck in Park. So I took it to my independent mechanic who informed me that Mercedes will not sell a shift assembly without installing it at the stealership.
Does anybody know how I can get around this?
I called the dealership myself because I didn't believe the mechanic. The parts department told me they sold them up to 2 months ago then suddenly stopped, same thing with the last body style S class'.
I really really don't want to pay Mercedes. Anybody know where I could find a used one?
Any help would be greatly appreciated
