that's what you're after (look closely @ all the lines, hood
height, fender angle &
thickness, this Prior kit truly
shows how horribly off the
Sarona kit really is, don't
confuse my comparo as my
MishaDesigns kit isnt trying to
look exactly like OEM,
although Misha's fender
angle/thickness & sideskirts are
100% spot on like OEM, just hood, bumpers/rear 1/4 panel
transition to taillights & slight
variance in front 1/4 panel air-
slit opening are different to
trained eyes.. I chose the
MishaDesigns kit for the majority
of these differences & absolutely
love the vented CF hood &
Super aggressive bumpers,
especially the Misha front
bumper & CF spliter. It looks like
a marriage of best of an SLR &
SL65 blk series front bumpers to
me)
Now the points I don't like on
Prior kit is the rear deck
wing/spoiler it's horribly high in
angle like a ducks tail?? Very different than OEM or ANY of the other kits on market. besides
that it looks very well executed (minus Brabus style ground lighting)

I understand they are excon and the lip gives the rim depth but, I thought maybe there was possibly a technical/structural issue.
After seeing your car I was ready to jump right in and spoke to 3 body shops and prices ranged from 10k to 16k for install and paint. Its not the money, im just not sure I want to sink 25+k into a 2003 SL55. Im throwing around the Idea of buying a newer SL.

Wheels?
I recently bought an 03 SL55 and am looking for some new wheels. I like the looks of these, since there is no chrome nor rivets, and I like concave wheels as well.
Anybody have ideas of who offers a similar wheel here in the states?
Thanks!

Those wheels are DPE wheels. www.dpe-wheels.com - give them a call, ask for Manu (who posts on here) and tell him Adam sent you.

the Rennen Forged-Modular
lineup is awesumm! I never sugar coat my opinions (most
that know me here or follow any
of my posts know this to be
true)
Having said that, these huge
20"s are amazingly light &
extremely durable, upon closer
look ull see just how well made
they are, they even relocate
valve stems to inside barrels,
still simple to reach if air
needed, but keeps wheel-
lips & faces unclutered.
Also, ALL retaining hardware/bolts/rivets is
hidden on inside of barrels (though you can opt for hardware mounted outside of wheel faces/lips if so
desired for more decoration etc)
To sum it up truly nicest, well
made (3) piece Forged wheels
I've ever owned..
