Possible to lose tune if dealer "deletes" a lost key?
I lost a key fob and had the dealer "delete" the lost key from the car's system so that key won't work again.
Is my power-chip tune at risk of being deleted?
I know a friend had the computer on his BMW 335i re-flashed and lost his ESS tune because of it.
Hopefully there is a difference between just deleting a key from the system (what I asked to be done) and "re-flashing" the computer.
