Can someone pop their hood and check this on their hood....

Look at this pic.....with hood open. Is there supposed to be some sort of rubber seal that goes on the left/right side of the hood (I am talking the sides where the holes are). It just seems odd it's bare metal.......

No seal that is how mine is as well brother.
