I've noticed lately then when I first start the car there is a vibration under acceleration b/w 2000-3000rpm's. After a two mile stretch over smooth driving it goes away. Anyone ever have this issue? What was the diagnosis?

Have the tranny mounts checked.

One of the two engine mounts or the tranny mount. It could also be any of the driveshaft rubber cakes or the support bearing.

I had the same sensation in my SL63 and it turned out to be the hydralic engine mount. They are prone to springing a leak.

Anyone have the part numbers for the engine/trans mounts? I'm going to be installing headers so thought it would be a great time to swap them both out.
