After Amp and stock head unit
Is any body done to add after market amp and sub in to stock head unit? How can I access to factory amp? what size original sub under passenger foot?
I was able add after market amp and sub in my old 01 CLK320, but with my new Sl55 seem to be difficult, I don't want break any thing.

there is a component that takes the signal out of the fiber optics and sends it to normal audio components. I dont know the name or mfg. But you can ask about doing it at a car audio shop

i spent a few bux on the stereo. See signature. You need a special processor as OK mentioned above. My sub was not a direct fit and i had them glass a new box in order to get the proper fit. WELL WORTH IT. Top up or down - now the stereo has some real clean, clear sound.
