From NSX to 09 SL65
After 17 years of driving several NSX's, it was time for a change. Bought a low miles 09 SL65 black/black. I have been lurking for awhile and the knowledge gleaned helped me with my selection.
Great site.
This is the fastest car I have ever owned and the most complex. After page 180 I put the owner's manual down. I've had a few problems and questions I hope the collective can answer.
I have paired my Droid Bionic and it works fine. I can't seem to download my contacts to the address book of the car. Suggestions?
My first experience with MB navigation. Is it really in the dark ages or is there some newer firmware that can help? How do you know what version is in the car?
The previous owner had after market wheels that I did not purchase. He put the stock back on but neglected to install the air pressure sensors. After reading the many posts on this subject I have 2 questions.
1. is it the 433mz model or 315mz in the 09 sl65 or does it not matter?
2 are they installed inside tire on the underside of the stem or outside the tire?
I love the car and hope to participate to the exchange of information once I get a handle on this beast.

would love to see pics of the beast. planning any modifications? exhaust and a tune would probably keep you happy for a while. congrats on an amazing car.

I was never able to solve the address book problem. The sad thing is that it used to work on my older iPhone and older version of Android. You probably have a newer version of command so YMMV
As for TPMS, just give TireRack a call and they'll send you the correct one for a great price. It does matter to get the right frequency and even the right mfg, it won't work otherwise. I believe they are installed inside the tire, i.e. you need take the tire of the wheels.
