03 SL55,01 acura cls,05 lotus elise RIP
Transmission Program
When I drive the in S or W mode the car remembers to stay in that mode for the next start.
When I drive in M mode the transmission goes to S on the next restart.
Is there a way to make it stay in M mode ?

Hmmmmmmm, I wonder if when you're in M mode, set your memory seat. That should retain all current driver settings. Short of that, not sure if it can be done. Somehow, I think it's just designed to default to one of the automatic modes.

I just tried that and it didn't work.
I wonder if it can be set with STAR.

Not aware of such setting in sds.

s and w? I thought on the r230 they are c form comfort and s for sport?

^ could be on the newer SLs, but our 03s are S-sport, W-Winter and M for manual. Our paddles dont work until we are in M as well.

The gearbox defaults to whichever auto mode it was in last.
