SL 55 AMG 2003
Is this something that occurs often on these models?
can anyone tell me if they have any idea what it could be. I cant imagine its the seat nor switch, since it doesn't work on both sides
could it be a fuse?
in that case, anyone know where the fuse for the seat puls is located?

all fuses are in compartment behind passenger seat. remove the bottom plate to get to the fuse plate. check all if you don't now which.
how is your battery, does it go flat if car is not driven for a week?

Could be crimped air hoses, leaking air bladders, bad fuse, etc.
Likely will cost a lot of money to fix. I think these go out on a regular basis and sometimes die slowly, sometimes one side at a time.
Save your money for the occasioal real massage instead of funding your dealer! :^)

just stick to one problem at the time and give some feedback on the outcome.

i have the same problem with both of my seats, stealer says its most likely a pinched or leaky air line under the seat. star diag. showed that the computer shut down the air compressor that supplies the air lines. I'm not going to pursue the issue as many other owners have said that the pulse is not that great and not worth spending the money to repair. if you suspect a leaky line it can be proven by having smoke injected into the feeder lines that supplies the seats to identify if it is a leaky hose.
if you do go ahead and have it repaired, please post the issue as I'm interested to see the exact cause as this is an issue with many sl55's, mine is a 2005.
