General query for the group.
When starting the car can you just insert the key and turn it right through to engage the starter?
Since I bought the car the car came up with a crankshaft sensor error. The dealer replaced the crank sensor and found another issue and replaced the brain. I got it home and it drove fine. Next day I went to start it and the error came back. I became annoyed and replaced the connector and pins. It was fine but then the next day I started it the error came back.
But paying attention to what was happening, I noticed if I just insert the key and turn though on the first start the crank error comes up. If I take my time and turn, wait a couple seconds, turn, wait a couple seconds then continue to the starter it is OK.
It is like it needs to run the take off check list...So don't rush me...

That's odd. I've had my '03 since new and it has never done that. But most of the time I use keyless go

i think they didne efficiently remove all the errors from the computer after they worked on the car, its still faulting the car
