Are all R230s (SL 65 AMG) prewired for cell phones or blue tooth adapter?
I have a UHI connector in the center console on my 2005 SL 65 AMG.
I have been advised that I can buy a bluetooth adapter puck type devise to make it work with iphone? approx....$ 400 for puck.....
Any info helpful from your knowledge or experiences regarding prewiring or puck devise.....thx in advance...

The more popular puck is the Viseeo MB2. It is compatible with ALL phones, vs the MB traded one is not. It is a good bit less than the MB brand. You can see it on our site.
Pre-wire is listed on nearly every mercedes sticker… but means almost nothing. Have the UHI system installed makes it "bluetooth ready"

If you have the UHI connector, you car is prewired for a phone. I have the ViseeO MB-2 puck and couldn't be happier. I originally tried with 2 Mercedes OEM pucks and had nothing but problems.
Cartronics products are fantastic and work just as they say.....

Pre-wire does not mean a thing (they are literally talking about a piece of wire). What matters if your car has the UHI (or sometimes called MHI depending on what part of the world you are in) modules, connectors and contact plate. This will ALWAYS be expressly listed on the window sticker of the car. Generally at about $1800 in the US.
However Vabene7 is correct, if you have the UHI contactor plate, you have UHI as well - which means your car is ready to go for the Viseeo MB2.
