SL65 rotors from Evosport!!!!
I have been looking really hard for compound rotors for my '05 SL65 and found nada.
My buddy said he would turn them for me but when we checked the thickness it was discovered that they were too far gone already.....
Decided to call Evosport as there was a thread on here and it was mentioned that they were working on what I (and all SL65 owners) need and lo and behold, they are currently in production due in three to four weeks! I was told apprx $2400 for a set of four, uses the stock calipers and when you wear them out they will have the discs in stock so you do not have to buy the hat again. I was also told that the new rotors will be of a stouter material and will last longer with much less weight!
At that point I was asked if I wanted to be put on the list and said yes immediately! They are coming, are you on the list?

Just got off of the phone with Evosport, probably no group buy, there is already a waiting list.....
The good news however is that replacement discs will be about $350 each and new hardware will be $90 per axle.....
So, about $390 per corner instead of the M-B option which is at least $750 per....

Just went on EVOSport website.......only offer SL 65 rear discs for $ 1,150 each......no fronts available......the search continues for a reasonably proved alternative to OEM...
