Trunk strut replacement
Has anyone replaced the trunk struts on an SL car? I did a search on the forum but didn't find any instructions.
Do they just pop off of the ball joints or do you need a special tool?
Thanks,
Sherman

Yes, they pop right off with a small screwdriver - just lift the little metal clip and pull them off the ball-end mount. Word of warning - one strut will not hold up the truck so get something to keep it from falling on you when doing this.

As the thread before said just lift up the metal clip with a small screw driver. I propped my trunk open with an old broom handle to keep it up when removing the old and installing the new.
