Motorolla V60 Bluetooth Adapter Question
Can anyone help me with a question I have regarding the V60 Bluetooth Adapter? I just got my hands on one and placed it in the phone holder on my SL55. Seems simple enough. My phone is a bluetooth ready smart phone. An HTC EVO to be exact. I feared limited capability with my 2004 SL but expected some basic functions to work. ie answering a call making a call etc. The bluetooth adapter paired instantly with my phone but I can't get the car to recognize it. It keeps giving me a phone not connected error. Is there something I need to do to pair the bluetooth V60 adapter to the car? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

the old v60 adapters will only work with specific phones. they are mostly old technology phones.
there is a list on the mercedes web site. the dealer parts dept can also find the list. i think the newest phones would be something like the motorola razor

I knew I would lose functionality but it seems the car doesn't know the adapter is there. The phone recognized the adapter instantly. You are most likely correct. I have an old Razor laying around somewhere. I should see what happens if I try to pair the adapter to it. I just thought through bluetooth I would at the very least answer or make a call using the car's built in mic.
