Has anyone painted their interior trim?
I bought a set of aluminum trim off of ebay. The original plan was to have it wrapped in carbon fiber, but I have not heard back from the local guy who offered to do this for me.
At this point, I'm thinking of just having the aluminum trim painted in black (color matched to my cars' exterior). I'm thinking that black painted aluminum with a clear coat should look pretty jazzy. Perhaps not as jazzy as carbon fiber, but much cheaper and much less hassle.
Anyone have any pics of this? I suppose the closet thing Mercedes ever made was the "piano black" trim, but I think that painted aluminum might look even more bad ***.
