Actually, I don't feel comfortable giving out this information because I don't feel it is mine to give out. This wheel setup is the result of collaboration between two different shops(one sponser and one not) and myself. A lot of test fitting and machining went into the final result, since 17's generally won't fit, and there has been talk of offering these as a package purchase. If the sponser or other shop want to give out the information that is up to them. I am sure most can figure out who they are. That is all I can say for now unless they tell me otherwise.
Understood, I would like to hear all about it when its ready to be sold as a package.
I ordered the Killer Chiller setup for my SL55, cars a bit different but, I will share the data when she's all buttoned up some time this week.
Be safe

Please let us know how the chiller killer works out for you. It has caught my interest but I'm a little cautious on this mod.

Data Log
My SL65 build has reached it's completion for now. The final step was the install of the SpeeDriven IC Pump and HE. After finishing this install we took it on a 15 mile test run to make sure everything was functioning properly. After we were satisfied everything was 100% we allowed the car to idle for about 20 minutes to see how the new setup would recover from a thorough heat soak. I have attached a Data Log to show the numbers we achieved. The Max column is the starting point for IAT's when we began our final 10 mile run and the Min column shows the IAT achieved during the final run just before returning to the shop. So during the run the IAT's started at 174 degrees after heat soaking but dropped to 93 degrees during the final pull where we reached speeds over 140mph. During each successive pull the IAT's dropped further from the Max temp which occured during the heat soak. SpeeDriven's combination of IC Pump(running constantly), HE and Top Mounted Intercoolers certainly seem to allow the SL65 to achieve all the power it is capable of without the ECU pulling timing due to high IAT's. I also want to thank OETuning for their part with the ECU/TCU tune. The tune alone gave us 55 extra HP at the rear wheels (approx 70 crank). We intended to do a final Dyno test after the cooling mods were complete but unfortunately our local Dyno shop has closed its doors since our last Dyno test so we may never know the final gains with the complete performance mods.

Great job and good results! Can you post a larger picture? Which data logging software are you using?

I have also bought the speedriven pump.... I have send them several e-mails and ask how to draw those wires ..... from where?
I know the oem wires (1,8 amp) is to small so I must draw bigger wires ( 8 amp) from somewhere and connect them so the pump is running al the time when key is on...
I have ask speedriven for help now in 2-3 weeks and no answers....
Can you help me out?

Point is even after massive heat soaking attempts for that 1 1/2 hrs it didn't faze her, you could put your face on the IC's they were frosty like holding cold beer can that's been sitting outside for say 10 min. All I had to do to sustain this was refill w/4-5 bags of ice every 30 min, I'll bet IAT's were very close to outside Ambient temps that day round 65-68 deg. Question what did your IC's feel like after all your heatsoaking tests? Could you touch them w/your bare hands etc?
I know archaic test vs real data logging but it works, I too saw zero fade in hp, we ran highest #'s w/ice, as I got baseline before adding ice, after ice we gained 25-30 rwhp thru entire curve.

I never data logged mine but using stock IC's & Reservoir full of ice in trunk w/2nd pump set to run continuously, I had on Dyno for @ least 1 & 1/2 hours, (I know larger Speedriven IC's will work better in real life circumstances, IE no ice in reservoir) but if you have a Res full of ice you'll see even further cooling (temporary but worth 1-2 runs in 1/4 mi) you'll want this since you obviously want to take this 65 to the limit![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)

To answer your question about the IC's after heat soaking....I tried touching the IC's but they were too hot. I could lightly "tap" my hand on them but anything more than that would have caused severe burns. We were hand testing everything we could reach to check for proper coolant flow. Really could have used an infrared thermometer(now I purchased one). When we got back from that run I could easily lay my hand on the IC's and keep it there. They were definitely warm but not scalding hot like they were after heat soaking. I am still considering further cooling mods such as the ice tank and possibly CO2 or Nitrous "fog" on the HE's. Trying to "beg" for a chance to ReDyno but the new owner is not cooperating at the moment.

They look like clk rims
Cool. MIR is my favorite track and we do rentals there but it seems to be getting pretty hot. I would be happy to show you the ropes and give you tips at the track
I hope to get to the track sometime this spring but who knows. Never enough time. I probably will be starting out at "Island" in New Jersey just because its close and not to crowded from what I am told. There is a local group that goes there about every 2 weeks. Maple Grove is actually the closest but I was told is very hard to get track time there. Eventually I hope to get to Atco and possibly MIR.
