Introducing Prior Design's SL R230 Kits!
Hey guys,
We have been on the search for a high quality Mercedes-Benz body kit provider for months, even nearly a year. We were looking for a high quality product with unique designs, great factory backing and of the utmost quality. There are 2 kits for the SL R230.

Just BONKERS!! love the the Verde' Ithica Lambo style color green
Bump for some very nice looking kits
Questions are those the Ebay rearview mirror shells? They don't look like the HUGE OEM facelifted ones
& the rear trunk Spoiler looks like the regular SL63 version, it's not larger like the Black Series version? The Black Series style hood opening/slits are definitely Closed/Faux on both models (if you look closely on both sets of pix you can see it) Why? Are they just NOT functional & purely cosmetic on both cars?
PS is the Green colored model an SL500/550 Appears so with the smaller Calipers & rotors etc.. To finish off that green theme the tail lights desperately need to be darkly tinted.. The Pearl White is just beautiful
I love all these Widebody's, please add some more pictures w/top-UP/Closed of the Green 1 thanks..
After studying Prior pix, I've noticed a couple things... The Prior Front Fender Flairs are much smaller than OEM version ie about 2"-3" in width smaller per side, it makes the overall Widebody design look disproportionate, not having Symmetry to the rear IE look @ these Stock SL65 Black Series images in comparo..
VS Prior kit images below here..
These Prior Design picture shows difference in front fender flairs very well..
Again VS OEM SL65 STOCK image...

Prior Design products are made from quality Dura-Flex FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic). This material is characterized by an excellent surface finish that provides sufficient flexibility combined with high stability and allows for easy and inexpensive painting. Also, parts are all made with excellent fitment with no modifications or alterations needed for the parts, which minimizes installation costs.
The particular SL Widebody Kits are TUV approved and the certificate is included with all orders. In order to get the kit TUV approved, rigorous tests had to be passed in order to meet all fitment and material quality requirements as well as pedestrian laws.

WIDE BODY CONVERSION KITS?
IS the price really 18-20k painted and installed
Seems pretty expensive for cars only worth 25-50k (03-07 SL55'S)
I was thinking they were 10k or less installed.

Can anyone comment who has the PD widebody kit on their car (non black series), as to what offsets to run? We are waiting for the kit to arrive, but need to get some wheels on order. Prior Design suggests 10 x 20 fronts with ET 11 and 11.5 x 20 rears with ET 5, but this seems ultra conservative based on the wheels we currently have on the stock vehicle. We plan to run 9.5s on the front and 12.5s on the rear. It "may" get lowered, but not dramatically if at all. Any comments from anyone with experience would be greatly appreciated!

Can anybody please tell me what wheels are these?
They look exactly the same as the ML63 21" OEM WHEELS, but these seem to be 20"s.
They look amazing, I wanna get the kit, but only if I can get those handsome looking rims to go with it.

We have tons of Forged and Cast wheels that would fit your car perfectly. Forgestar, Avant Garde, BC Forged, COR, MORR, D2 Forged, DPE Forged, etc.
