Problem
I have a 2007 Sl55, 12000 miles, last few times I have started it a little white smoke comes out the exhaust. Should I give a little time to see if it clears up or should I take it in, I hate to take it in. Thanks

If the white smoke goes away after it's started and warmed up then I wouldn't worry too much unless there's a strong smell of coolant in the exhaust.
Does your SL only have 12K miles or 120k miles?
There are numerous causes of white smoke but it usually means you have coolant slipping past the head gasket. Again, I wouldn't be alarmed if the white smoke goes away after warm up.
