Renntech IC pump upgrades and ABC branch line leaking
So today I brought my 2006 SL65 with 15,500 miles for an oil change and the AMG tech said I've developed a leak and it's going to cost $2,200 to replace the leaking ABC pressure supply line. He also recommended that I change the stock IC pump to a Renntech IC pump, Renntech shows two options, one for $1,395 and then another for $2,980. The tech claims it's a 2-3 hour job to replace the pump. I don't have any performance upgrades, nor am I planing any in the future. Is this a worthy upgrade? I know MB AMG's run hot, I have a 08 CLK BS and it runs very hot. I trust Renntech as I have their upgrades on my CLK BS.
I've seen others here who have used the Bosch IC pump, any feedback or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

07' SL65, 04' E55, 03' Evo8, 08' GSXR, DSM's...
I installed the Bosch pump on my 07', and seems to be just fine, although i think the car still runs hot, not cause of the pump though. I did it just to get it out of the way. If the 06' is anything like the 07' as far as the pump location etc, 2-3 hours is about right. There are threads on the years prior to the 07'-08' cars, and it is different. Good luck.

Thanks for the feedback Aaron. I'm considering upgrading the air box as well to this, which Renntech said will cool the engine by an additional 5-8 degrees and add HP and T as well.
