OK, it's been a couple weeks. MB checked it all out and everything is good. I got the 2 cracked wheels replaced. Today i let'er rip, hole shot in front of the house neighbors watching, son in the car with me. No power brake, just a WOT for a couple hundred feet. Attempting not to launch, traction control off it made a lovely roaring noise, wheels spinning, smoke filling the air, it was wonderful. The fact it is a MB made me feel a little sacrilegious, but it is an SL55 AMG! I don't do that kinda stuff much anymore. I use the power more driving that starting. I had to see, and there is a ton a power. I'd wouldn't mind one or two passes on a strip, but the burn out was fun
Don't want the neighbors to get too comfortable with my suburban appearing self.

I can hear 'em now, "Uh, did you see that! He's crazy i tell ya!"
