I may have asked this question in the wrong forum earlier, but do you have to have a specialized package in order to use the key to let the roof "up and down?"

No. But you do have to point the key fob at the black lock button on either door handle while holding the unluck button to put the top down. Hold lock button to put the top up. Hope this helps.

04SL is right, I can lower and raise mine from about 15ft away pointing the fob at the car.

Funny enough, I finally got it to do it last night before replying to this post. :-) I think it was a "sequence" I went through. I hit unlock 2 times, paused for 1 second, and then held the unlock button. Voila!! I'm going to try again in a few minutes to see if this theory is consistent; thanks for replying...

Just hold the unlock button down to lower the roof and lock to close.
