SL55/63/65/R230 AMG: gear ratio comparisons on new v. old SL65?

gear ratio comparisons on new v. old SL65?
So the new 2013 SL65 has a 7sp tranny v. the old SL65 5sp tranny. I'm wondering how the gearing is spread across the 7 speeds ?
My '05 SL65 has never yearned for a lower 1st gear. In fact, in Comfort mode the car starts in 2nd gear.
I wonder if 7th gear is significantly taller than the older gen 5th gear giving the new SL a higher top end (with delimiter removed).
I'm betting that rolling sprints will be quicker.
Thoughts?

If the new car has the same red line (which I think it will) the fist 3 gears (in the old car)!are irrelevant as the limiting factor is traction. Once on top of 4th (140?) the old car will give up a bit to the new car as the two extra gears will allow for more optimal gearing at high speeds. Our cars are dogs (relatively speaking) once they hit top of 4th and 5th.
I think up to very high speeds both cars will be more or less identical in straight line performance.
