this is not the RBS diffuser is it?
it's the standard one I believe.
here is a link to the one I'm looking at getting. comparing the pictures it appears to be different from the one you have here (besides the obvious ground effects the diffuser seems a little different as well).

I was hoping to get the RBS one here from somone at a discount from the $1500 RevoZport is asking.

http://www.revozport.com/revo/produc...ail.php?id=780

Good Luck with yours.
If anyone else knows where I can get my hands on the RBS diffuser, please drop me a line.

thx

YOU WILL NEED TO BUY THE REAR BUMBER TO INSTALL THIS DIFFUSER.

Rick
thank you for posting the link to the other posts about revozport.
Sorry about your experiance man, i know how dissapointing that must have been. Waiting all that time and then getting damaged goods.
I noticed you followed up on that board and indicated that you never got a refund or replacement..............is that correct?
Did you dispute the charge with your CC company? or take any course of action to attempt to recover the funds?
I am curious to know what Ken and Revozport's response is/was to your request for replacement or refund?
I'm emailing the guy as we speak about the RBS carbon diffuser with the ground effects, and he seems very responsive............but then again he does not have my money yet.

man........i want that diffuser but do not want to share your experiance or be a victim of any unethical overseas vendor.

last year Neal from euroteckmotorsports.com organized a GB for SL55 diffuser. I was one of the lucky ones who was able to buy one. Is already installed and I'm very happy with it.

thank You Rick
I think I'm going to pull the trigger.
I will get the RBS Diffuser with Ground Effects from Revozport, and then an OEM SL63 rear bumper from parts.com (unless someone has a better suggestion).

Can anyone shed some light on the entire process and associated costs.
I'm anticipating Diffuser cost and shipping from China. (Roughly 1.5K)
SL63 OEM Rear bumper from parts.com or dealer (Roughly 1K)
Paint of ream bumper and installation (not sure what this will run)

If anyone that had this done can chip in and give me a heads up on anything i may have missed or any potential road blocks, please do.

thank you in advance.

just buy the diffuser from 03MBZ-SL55, and search for a good condition used rear bumper.

Hi Rick
thanks for the link
I'm quite familiar with eBay as i've been using it since it started.
I saw this bumper along with many others.
this is an after-market (non oem) and it will not permit a diffuser.
I order for me to make the RBS diffuser work, I will need an OEM rear Sl63 bumper or an after market one. there are many after market ones out there ranging from $300 to thousands but most are crap! Nothing like the original factory OEM bumper.
but i appreciate you looking out.

thx

So i went ahead and ordered the REVOZPORT RBS SL63 Rear Carbon Fiber Rear diffuser. I was advised it will take a couple of weeks.
I will post updates on my experiance with REVOZPORT as they develop (communication, delivery, timing, ease of install, end result, etc)

thx

Hey does anyone on here know and can share the best source for OEM original mercedes benz parts? without going direclty to the dealer?
I'm looking to buy a new, original SL63 rear bumper, and would like to have a source for other components as well.

parts.com seems ok, but their website is kind of crap.

any suggestions?

/\ I would also be interested in the best source for a OEM SL63 rear bumper. Unless someone has one for the SL65 bumper, which i wasn't able to exactly find when looking previously. Love the look of the carbon diffuser and the 63 bumper.
