Difference wheels at front n rear will cause the ABS problem?
Hi guys,
I know, I know not another ABS questions, but I need some help here. My car is running 20 at front n 22 at rear, n now I got ABS ESP lights on. Was it because of the crazy wheel size? Coz ABS n ESP were off when it start n rolling with 30 Kim's but it's on when it roll in 40 or 50 Kms. I know I m the only one out here with crazy wheels set. I just bought it n it came with it along with that problem. Those lights came off if I turn off the car n came back on when I drive like I mentioned 40 above.
My tech is saying ABS unit needs to replace, n those wheels size r nothing to concern with the problems.
N my car streeing wheel a bit tigh n break seems to loose a little. Was it because of the ABS fault?
N admins I think we might need "ABS n ESP" as sticky since we all r having same problem with it.

Porsche guy who drives SL63 w/ perf pkg AND perf suspension
I have had 19 front and 20 rear, no problem. I have seen 20 and 22. they didnt have a problem. I would listen to a mercedes mechanic who has hooked the car to the computer and believe them because they have fault codes that will identify a bad abs unit

Gotta check the speed sensor. If not I will change the tire of the rear side. Coz right now I m running 295/30 but the rims itself is 305/30 so the rim is sticking out from the tire (they called it hella flush or something). I think my dealer did it on purpose of the look.
To do list - 1. Check (if) speed sensor (else)
2. Change (if) the tire (else)
3. Change (if) the rims of the rear to 20" (null) ( then I m gonna need a lowering module)
For the lowering module which brand shall I go with? Any advices?
