Lysholm Master

Has anyone ever compared the differences between the '05 - '06 model years airboxes (1130900501, 1130900601) versus the later years '07 and '08 (1130901101, 1130901201) for the SL55? I'm wondering if since the later model years had a bump in power, that maybe the air intake system was improved and the boxes were part of that? And whether this would be a suitable upgrade for an early SL55?
