Advice on ic pump
I put this in s class section without any help, perhaps people don't tune them.
I have just had myS 600 I presume very similar to a SL600 re mapped , she
is really flying but I was recommended to have the ic pump renewed or
upgraded.C an you recommend a pump to upgrade to, is it easy to fit, will
a Mercedes dealer fit it, and how much roughly will it cost. Thanks

No guessing here. Get the upgraded Bosch pump that ends with "10" in the part number. Price is $150. Don't know on the s-class, but on the sl65 the front bumper needs to come off. Labor should be between two and three hours. The v12 tt he coolant circuit needs to be bled after a new pump installation.

I have a factory pump that I took off if someone wants it. It is about a year old and 4k miles. I just got a pump with the kit from speedriven and I'm using that instead. I got my old one off without bumper removal, but it probably would have been about as easy to just pull the bumper.
