Should I get a SL65?
I really like my SL55, but was thinking about getting a SL65. My 55 has the Eurocharged stage 3 package and runs great. Is the SL65 that much better??

SL55 AMG & BMW F10
Just easier to get to 700hp 800+ft/lbs, not sure about driveability & handling since I haven't driven one.
BTW, let me know you're indeed getting an SL65 and parting out the 55

You don't want sl65 power in sl600 chasis. I really think that when pushed hard a stock sl600 is a liability handling- wise. Adding more power to an already inadequate (IMO) chassis is not something I would do.
If you want an sl65 power- get it with the right handling package (big brakes, properly calibrated asc, lsd, abc and all).

Well
I've had both, and you'd probably be surprised to know that I would choose another 55. I'm sure everyone else's here thinks I'm nuts. Actually, would choose an SL 63.

We have had all three cars in for tuning, and I still feel that the 55 is the better overall package.
The real driving experience isn't just about ultimate hp. At some point it becomes unusable. The 600 chassis isn't really up to the task for anything but a straight line. The 65 has just a bit too much weight in the nose, and while still a tank, the 55 is just a more balanced package and definitely less expensive to maintain.
