Chinese DAS
I bought a chinese mercedes das. I disconnected the battery on my 03 sl 55 before going to Florida for 9 months. I came back and reconnected but now when I scan all control units some are ok some naturally say low voltage fault but some have a small i in a square box as the result of the test. Does this mean the componet needs to be recoded or reset to the vin??

No. "i" means "information"... But in reality - Nothing of importance. The capital F and lower case f is what you should b concerned with.
The Chinese das cannot recode anything as you need passwords from Mercedes which you don't have and cannot generate. Actually consider yourself lucky as coding to car is an advanced topic.
Where you can mess up thIngs with Chinese das is in the developer's mode which is available in most Chinese das versions. Unless your German is good and you do know exactly what you are doing- do not even enter it as you can easily seriously damage your car or even brick it.
