sl55 turns off by itself
hey guys just replaced valve cover gaskets and now my car is acting funny. dunno if its a coincidence or if i messd sumthing up trying to put everything back together. have a consumer offline warning, had mb roadside come take alook, both batteries are good and charging at 14volts. i had the car on idle for about 5 min, and it shuts off on its own. started it back up waited again, nothing happend. test drove it, when i started going up my hill, car turned on and off about 4 times. so i had to press down the gas all the way so i could make it up my hill. as the gas was down, car would turn off and then turn back on - on its own - did it about 4 or 5 times. whats wrong with my car? i parked it in the garage and turned it off, waited about 5 min, and it started making sum kind of weird beeping noise while car is off. it started off loud and slowly got silenced, i recorded the noise and posted on youtube. - lemme know what you think.

I get the consumers offline message also if I dont drive my car for a couple days, im assuming the battery may just be a little low. It doesnt bother me because i can still work any button I want. Never had a problem with it shutting off but my thoughts are it would have something to do with something you touched, go over everything again to make sure you did everything correctly would be my suggestion without more info

Almost sounds like the CPS is bad as far as the car dying.
Listen to the SBC unit and see if it is coming from there. That does make some similar noise when the car is "woken" up.
