How much to replace motor mounts..how any are there?
Are there 2 mounts or 4 mounts?
Also, there is just 1 tranny mount, correct?
I was quoted 5 hours of labor to do engine and tranny mount...does this sound right?

There are 2 motor mounts and 1 transmission mount.
Lemfoerder (I think that's the OEM) mounts are around 100 each for motor and 50 for transmission.
Hamburg Technic Hydro Mounts are about half that but I'm seeing a lot of complaints so I'm going to pass and spend the extra coin.
I just got a $700 non dealer quote parts and labor, didn't ask the brand because I'm planning to do them myself.
I'm coming to the conclusion that the only way I can afford to keep this beast is to fix it myself.
Oh, you might want to look at the ball joints and thrust arms, based on my research they all seem to fail around the same time. I did those last month, then 2 days later one of my struts failed ($1700 each new so be careful if you DIY).
