High 70's to mid 80's temps. No D/A meter present but air was decent and track is near seal level.

Mods: ECU tune, E85 fuel, custom ATPTURBO Fabbed intercoolers using Garrett 1000HP cores, secondary heat exhchanger for Mustang GT500 up front, Meziere(sp?) pump, everything else stock including turbo back to tailpipe. The car has no weight reduction at all and has the added weight of a 50 lb drag legal 5 point rollbar and associated gear.

Finally got it to trap 105 MPH on the 8th so I'm happy about that. I think with good track prep it will do a little better on the 8th and break 130 MPH on the 1/4 mile trap. We shall see soon!
I checked the DA/weather on your run from Dragtimes DA was Positive +1625' @ 81-82 Degrees easily shave 1-2 tenths if you ran in Negative DA & 50-55 Degrees + you should easily be able to run 1.5x- 60' shaving another 1-2 tenths off your 1/4 ET

Your setup should be capable of 10.3x-10.5x in optimal Negative DA w/great 60' of 1.5x

Congrats on the runs, you're getting close to making it to the 10's which is incredible fast and will beat pretty much everything out there.

Would a Johnson pump help with your heat soak problem.

Not in my case.....We are using the same pump as RennTech and SpeeDriven which has a higher output(name escapes me at the moment, begins with a P) and its wired to run continuously. So we are beyond the Johnson. An Ice Tank or other auxilliary coolant tank in the coolant circuit is the only thing that can help. We have been working on several ideas to avoid putting in a permanent tank in the trunk. In our last run w did shave off close to an additional 0.2 sec with some collant mods and are fairly sure we will get into the 10's in the Spring; only missed it by 0.08sec on our last trip out with some fairly bad runs due to poor prep.

All you need is one of those early spring days where the air is cool, but the sun is strong enough to put some heat into the track and the DAs will be low.
