SL55/63/65/R230 AMG: e85

e85
I was thinking of getting either the s600 or s65. Has anyone heard of these cars running e85? I've converted my current car to run on e85 by changing out the fuel pump and injectors, but I'm not sure the technicalities of these cars. I know I can't just put it in the tank and drive it, bust assuming I got it tuned for e85, what else would I need to change out? Can the stock fuel pump handle the ethanol?

Don't put your S on E85. You'll confuse a lot of people. Look at the badge on the trunk of my S600. He he.
But, seriously though, I've been on E85 for about a year now and the car runs perfect. The stock fuel pump is fine on bigger injectors as monitored on the wideband. Fuel trims have been the same since day one of the conversion too. So far so good. Everything has been maintenance free as though I'm on pump gas. Except there is gobs and gobs more power. Do it!
