Purchasing an SL55 AMG
Hello Fellow Mercedes-Benz Owners,
I am purchasing a 2003 SL55 AMG and I have done some research on the vehicle, but would like advice/information from actual owners. I know there was a recall on the roof and minor problems with the suspension.
Please advise as to what else I should look for during inspections.

Be prepared to spend money on maintenance. The car may have depreciated by $100k but the maintenance cost doesn't go down, it goes up. Parts and labor are based on it still being a $140k vehicle.
With that said, they are a joy to drive and as long as I can afford the maintenance, I won't be switching, well maybe to an SL65
