Replacement radio ideas for a 2003 SL55?
I have a 2003 SL55 without the XM antenna. Looking at some cars with my gf yesterday, I realized how old and out of date the factory radio is. Um, yeah, so the old factory unit is looking pretty bad...
So, ideas for new heads? I would love to be able to bluetooth to my smartphone for music and calls etc. Probably add the XM/Sirius antenna too. Navigation probably comes standard with the better units I assume, which is fine. I still have stock speakers too, and am not enough of an audiophile to be concerned about switching them out. Ideas? Suggestions?
Also, I live in the Denver area. Anyone have any suggestions for a good shop to do the install? I am a bit hesitant to give it to some kid at Best Buy.....
Any and all suggestions are welcome!
Thanks
Darin

You should talk to RonnieRenaldi... He lives close to you & he did all of this I think. Right now he is suspended for some lamo forum violation BUT he is a pretty cool guy that I am sure is willing to help.

I'm thinking of switching out my head unit to a pioneer double din pretty soon. I believe once the original head unit has been changed, the amplifier has to be changed as well.
