SL55/63/65/R230 AMG: Giovanna Martuni's
I liked the look of the stock 20-spoke rims on my Sl55 and couldn't find another style that was better, so I went with something similar to replace my curbed-up stock wheels.
Ordered Giovanna Martuni's from http://bigwheelsnyc.com/
and the new Toyo Proxes 4 Plus from a local source.
Set of 4 staggered, silver, 20" rims for insanely low price.. I think they're just clearing them out.. call them for a discount (at least another $40 off) from the web price.
(I never knew rims were this cheap.. my last set was over $3k.. is Giovanna a really cheap brand? the spokes reach back to the inner 1/2 of the wheel barrel, so I figured that was a nice strengthening feature that gives me at least a little insurance from bending my rims compared to regular spokes).
They even helped my offset concerns by milling the rear wheels another 5mm for me for free (I'm not concerned about decreasing the strength of the wheel center as there's lot's of material to work with and from what I read on other forums, it's practically how the manufacturer makes different offset wheels using the same cast anyways).
I'm still waiting on the tires to arrive, so I'll post up a review of the tires right after as well as some installed pics.
Can't wait!!!!

one issue with cast is if you do get a bend, you have to toss the wheel. cast is very brittle and can't be bent back. forged however can though. at that price though, it is almost worth it unless you just can't live with those sizes.
I got this set for $590 shipped w/ AMG caps! (insanely cheap right?)
Finally got them installed w/
Toyo T1 Sport
255/30/20 fronts and
285/30/20 rears
Shaved down the rears an extra 5mm.
I think it still needs a drop, but I'm so afraid of rubbing.
